Tri2O Swim Centre

At the Tri2O Swim Centre we pride ourselves on our friendly 'club atmosphere' and welcome Triathletes and Open Water Swimmers of all abilities. Whether you're an absolute novice looking to take on your first open water swim or a seasoned English Channel swimmer, the experienced team look forward to welcoming you to our fantastic lake. Now in our 6th season running the Swim Centre, we still love helping our customers smash their goals...for some that is simply getting in to the lake and completing that lap (you know who you are . . . ), whilst for others that may be a sub 10 hour Ironman!

The on-site Tri2O Shop and Wetsuit Fitting Center carries a comprehensive range of Wetsuits, Tri-suits, Swimming Goggles and accessories from blueseventy, Orca & Aqua Sphere; and a range of Nutrition products.
We offer a complimentary wetsuit fitting service and what sets us apart is that we fundamentally believe any swimmer purchasing a new wetsuit should at least try it on and preferably swim in it before they buy, so that's what we offer. Our expert team will ensure you select the right wetsuit for your requirements, help you to put it on correctly and then you get the opportunity to swim in it to make sure it feels good.

The lake water temperature is measured and updated daily on our Home Page at www.mysportingtimes.com. Why not set us up as one of your 'favourites' and have a quick glance before you head over for a swim....then you can decide if you need those booties or not! The Tri2O Swim Centre is accredited as a NOWCA approved lake.

Lake Coaching:

We offer scheduled on-site triathlon and open water swimming coaching, in line with the NOWCA and BTF guidelines, with our resident Coaches Clive Alderson and Dom Dos Remedios. Coaching sessions are available to book as 1:1 or Group sessions, through our dedicated Lake Coaching section.
For those requiring something less structured there will always be an experienced open water swimmer on hand to offer advice, guidance and reassurance.

Well marked 750M swim loop course with large Marker Buoys for easy sighting.
Safety boats in the water at all times.
Female and Male changing rooms with shower facilities.
Easily accessible from M4 Jn11 at Reading.
T1 Clubhouse with Wireless Internet and most importantly Tea, Coffee and Snacks!
Junior Swimmers welcome (Waiver form must be completed by a Parent or Guardian).
Wetsuit Hire Service - available on a Single Swim or Weekly basis.
Cycleops Trainers available for T1 Brick Sessions (advance notice required).
Scenic 1.7km run track around the lake.

The lake is situated at the Reading Lake Hotel [formerly the Copthorne Hotel] off Junction 11 on M4.

Exit the M4 at Junction 11 and follow the A33 towards Basingstoke. At the 2nd set of Traffic Lights filter right and then turn right again at the mini roundabout; follow signs for the Copthorne Hotel. The Hotel is only 2 miles from Junction 11. Enter the Hotel complex and look for the Beach Flags in the far right corner of the Car Park.

Valid from 20^th April 2013 to 29^th September 2013:
Saturday & Sunday 07.30a.m. - 10.00a.m.
Tuesday & Thursday 17.00p.m. - 20.00p.m.

Waiver Form:

All swimmers MUST complete and sign a Waiver Form [once only for the season] and register before entering the water (available for DOWNLOAD HERE if you wish to speed registration on arrival).

Please adhere to the Tri2O Rules and Regulations detailed onsite.

MySportingTimes / Tri2O reserve the right to refuse admission or remove swimmers from the water if the safety of other swimmers is compromised.
