The MySportingTimes triathlete training facility in the beautiful Dordogne Valley is a camp with a difference when it comes to triathlon training. We will not only cater for your triathlon training needs but we will make sure you have a fantastic holiday as well. Our triathlon facility, Chauffour, is located in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by sunflower fields and vineyards with easy access to the airports at Angouleme, Bergerac, Bordeaux & Limoges. Once you arrive at the airport, our objective is to make your stay with us as ‘easy' as possible so our prices include airport transfers and all food & drink.
This triathlon training camp is run by Russell Cox, a fulltime triathlete with over five years experience and racing as an endurance athlete, including racing for the GB Age Group Triathlon Team. Russ has raced 10 Ironman events and many others including Challenge Roth and the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. In his own words “my proudest triathlon achievements to date are finishing third in my age group at Ironman UK 2009 and breaking 10 hours at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii”.Russ has already qualified for Kona 2010!

We will always tailor the triathlon programmes to meet the requirements of our guests. Each of the daily triathlete training sessions are optional and you just pick and choose which ones you want to join. We understand that most of you will be joining us to get fitter or achieve better race results so whatever your fitness, or racing goals, we will help you develop realistic targets and achieve them during your training time with us.
Here are some sample triathlon programmes
Day 1 - Introductory Day
Run 5-10K Easy - work up an appetite.
Breakfast
Bike 40-60K - comfortable pace nothing too hard for day 1.
Lunch
Swim 1 hour - trip to the lake for a swim.
Dinner
Day 2 - Bike Focus
Swim 1 hour - early trip to the lake
Breakfast
Bike - 40K - Time Trial. We'll ride out somewhere not too far away. Ideally to do a 20K TT effort if we can. Take times etc. Then an easy ride back home.
Lunch
Run 5-10K
Dinner
Day 3 - Run Focus
Swim 1 hour - early trip to the lake again
Breakfast
Run - 5K Race - maybe a guess the time format. Two winners one for guessing closest to their finish time, other for winning the race.
Lunch
Bike - 60K at a comfortable pace.

Day 4 - Swim Focus
Optional Run 5-10K Easy
Breakfast
Bike - 60K at a good pace again.
Run - 5K Brick.
Lunch
Swim - 1 hour - 500m-1km race in there too.

Day 5 - Race Day
Optional Run 5-10K or save yourself for the race.

Aquathon - 1K Swim followed by a 5K run

Cafe Ride - 40K Easy riding stopping for a coffee on route.

Prices include all food and drink. We understand the nutritional requirements of our camp customers and will provide a well balanced diet to meet the needs of a triathlete. Sample menu below:
Breakfast: Tea/coffee, juice, eggs, bread, jam.
Lunch: Squash, water, tea/coffee, pasta or rice salad, bread, cheese or Quiche or a tart with pasta or rice salad.
Dinner: Beer/wine with set 3 course meal.....individual goats cheese tart with salad, coq au vin with rice, lemon tarte, tea/coffee, bread. Homemade Pizzas / BBQ or Paella.
